Why we decouple price from hours.

A subpage of Automation — the reasoning behind value-based pricing, and why speed is a genuine advantage here, not a corner we cut.

The problem with a day rate on automation work

A day rate rewards slowness. If we bill by the hour, the fastest possible delivery of a workflow is the worst outcome for our revenue — which is exactly backwards from what you are paying for. You are not buying our time; you are buying the removal of a specific, measurable cost: hours of manual re-keying, error correction, or delay that a workflow eliminates every week, indefinitely, after we leave.

So we price against that outcome instead.

How the fee is actually sized

Time saved

Hours per week or month currently spent on the manual version of the task, valued at a realistic internal cost — not a symbolic number.

Error cost avoided

Re-keying and manual handoffs generate mistakes — mis-billed invoices, delayed quotes, missed follow-ups. A reliable workflow removes that tail risk too.

We size the fixed fee against a conservative estimate of that combined value, then quote it upfront — the same closed-price discipline as every other Numerimondes service.

Why speed is a real advantage here, not a shortcut

We build with no-code and low-code blocks, automation-workflow platforms, and language models wherever they let us assemble a tailored solution fast. That is not corner-cutting — for a well-scoped, single-purpose workflow (a quote generator, an invoice extractor), a from-scratch custom build is usually the wrong tool: slower to ship and more expensive to maintain than it needs to be.

This is what lets us commit to delivery timelines meaningfully shorter than a traditional development agency, while still handing you something you own and can extend without calling us for every change.

Where this stops applying

Value-based pricing works when the outcome is measurable and the scope is a defined process. It stops being the right model once a project becomes a genuinely open-ended custom build — at that point, the engagement is Development work, priced by scoped milestones instead.
